Job summary

Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center is seeking a Patient Access Representative I for per diem coverage. You will register patients, collect necessary information, verify insurance details, and assist with post-care account resolution while ensuring HIPAA compliance.

Available shifts include every other Saturday & Sunday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM and alternate weekends 6:00 AM–2:30 PM / 7:00 AM–3:00 PM. Prior experience in patient access or medical office is preferred.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Preferred EMR experience, EPIC in particular.
• Minimum 1+ years in Patient Access, Medical Office, Health Insurance or relevant area.
• Must be able to lift more than 25 lbs if needed.

Responsibilities

• Registration and information collection for patients.
• Verify patient information and assist with required consents.
• Explain patient financial responsibilities and collect co-pays when applicable.
• Loster and communicate with payers and patients to support timely payment of claims.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and handle data securely.
