Job summary

Ensemble Health Partners in Front Royal, VA is seeking a Part-Time Overnight Patient Access Specialist to perform admitting duties for all hospital patients and ensure accurate pre-registration and insurance verification. You will collect demographic and billing information while delivering exceptional customer service in a regulated healthcare environment.

Requirements include 1+ year of customer service experience, a High School Diploma/GED, and CRCR certification within 9 months of hire

Qualifications

• 1+ year of customer service experience.
• High School Diploma/GED required.
• CRCR certification required within 9 months of hire (Company Paid).

Responsibilities

• Perform admitting duties for all patients admitted for services at the hospital, meeting mission, goals, and regulatory requirements.
• Assign MRNs, complete medical necessity/compliance checks, collect insurance info, and process physician orders with excellent customer service.
• Operate telephone switchboard and provide compassionate service in all communications.
• Meet point-of-service goals and ensure quality auditing and reporting.
• Pre-register patient accounts, gather demographic/insurance info, and discuss financial liabilities and payment options.
• Explain consent forms and distribute patient education documents; verify insurance eligibility and POS coding to support clean claims.
