Ensemble Health Partners is seeking a Patient Access Specialist to perform admitting duties for patients at Bon Secours - St Mary's Hospital in Richmond, VA, on-site. You will gather insurance information, run eligibility checks, collect payments, and support POS processes with a focus on patient service.

Minimum 1 year customer service experience; High School Diploma/GED; CRCR within 9 months; on-site role with pay between $17.00–$18.15 per hour based on experience; includes tuition

Qualifications

• 1+ year of customer service experience.
• CRCR certification required within 9 months of hire (company paid).
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with insurance verification and medical billing is a plus.
• Ability to work on-site in Richmond, VA with strong attention to detail.

Responsabilités

• Register patients and assign MRNs, verify insurance and collect data.
• Perform medical necessity/compliance checks and process orders.
• Operate the telephone switchboard and provide excellent customer service.
• Explain consent forms and obtain signatures from patients or guardians.
• Screen eligibility and enter benefit data to support POS and billing.
• Pre-register patient accounts and collect point of service payments.
