Responsibilities

• Admit patients and perform patient access duties for all hospital services.
• Operate the telephone switchboard for calls and inquiries.
• Provide accurate demographic and insurance information and collect payments as required.
• Explain consent forms and distribute patient education documents.
• Review eligibility and enter benefit data to support POS and billing processes.
• Screen medical necessity using ABN software and distribute required forms.
