Responsibilities

• Verify insurance benefits and eligibility; explain documents to patients.
• Obtain authorizations, pre-certifications, and referrals as needed.
• Collect payments and notify patients of balances or liabilities.
• Collaborate with scheduling to identify add-on patients and streamline workflows.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in the system of record.
• Adhere to institutional policies and safeguard assets.
