Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Patient Services Clerk to serve as the primary access point for patients in inpatient and outpatient clinics in Memphis, TN. You will gather, enter and verify registration details, collect co-pays, and help facilitate the care process with accuracy and professionalism.

The role requires high school completion, strong clerical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare setting, including nights, with a focus on accurate data entry and patient interaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a clerical or medical office program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients upon arrival and verify registration information.
• Collect co-pays and process patient charges accurately.
• Scan and verify insurance information and HIPAA/Financial Policy acknowledgement.
• Update patient status in the system and coordinate with clinical staff as needed.
• Assist with scheduling follow-ups and referrals as directed.
