Job summary

Family First Health is seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist for a split role at the Hanover and Gettysburg locations. The position includes greeting patients, registering demographic and insurance information, and scheduling appointments.

Responsibilities involve coordinating with the billing team, maintaining confidentiality, and delivering outstanding customer service in a patient-centered environment. Travel to Gettysburg may be required up to 50% of the time.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Strong customer service skills and professional communication.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-location environment.
• Knowledge of basic arithmetic for billing/transactions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients with accurate demographic and insurance information.
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments; manage workflow in athenahealth.
• Maintain confidentiality and deliver excellent customer service.
• Assist with end-of-day cash reconciliations and billing questions.
• Coordinate with providers and staff to ensure coverage at Hanover and Gettysburg locations.
