The University of Kansas Health System is seeking a Patient Registration Representative for the Olathe Pain Management Clinic. This full-time role handles inpatient/outpatient registrations, collects co-pays, and ensures accurate demographic and insurance data entry for each encounter.

Responsibilities include greeting patients, obtaining necessary information, balancing cash drawers, and assisting with admitting procedures as needed within the Admitting department.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of clerical, registration, and/or healthcare customer service preferred.

Responsabilités

• Register inpatients and outpatients with accurate demographics and insurance information.
• Collect co-pays or deposits when applicable.
• Balance cash drawer at end of day and maintain accurate monetary records.
• Explain facility policies and obtain signatures on consent and insurance forms.
