Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Admit/register scheduled and non-scheduled or emergent patients for the assigned department.
• Collect co-payments or deposits as appropriate for service rendered.
• Balance cash drawer at end of day.
• Explain facility policies and obtain consent and insurance forms as required.
• Enter information accurately into the computer system with correct patient details.
• Provide coverage as requested in all areas of Admitting.
