Kansas Health System is seeking a Patient Registration Representative for the Olathe Pain Management Clinic. The role entails patient registrations for inpatient/outpatient visits, securing accurate demographics and financial information, and handling POS collections while delivering excellent customer service to patients and families.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, with preferred 2+ years in clerical, registration, or healthcare-based customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED.
• 2+ years of Clerical, Registration, and/or Customer Service experience in a healthcare setting.

Responsabilités

• Monitor daily schedule for patients arriving for the day.
• Register admitted, scheduled, non-scheduled or emergent patients for the department.
• Enter patient demographics and insurance information accurately in the system.
• Collect co-payments or deposits as required for service.
• Balance cash drawer and process end-of-day reconciliation.
• Explain facility policies and obtain patient signatures on forms as needed.
• Comply with Medicare/Medicaid and other insurance rules and regulations.
