Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 2+ years of recent and related experience in a health care or customer service environment required.
• EMR experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patient appointments for physicians and ancillary services.
• Collect and update patient demographic, insurance and scheduling information.
• Verify insurance eligibility and obtain referrals or authorizations as needed.
• Refer patients to financial counseling when necessary.
• Maintain waitlists and ensure accurate scheduling and communications with clinical staff.
