You will ensure accurate scheduling, collect demographic and insurance details, and support patients through the visit process, including referrals and pre-authorizations. This role emphasizes accuracy, empathy, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of two (2) years of health care or customer service experience required.
• Experience verifying insurance and communicating with patients.
• Ability to manage schedules and coordinate with clinicians.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patient appointments for visits, procedures, tests, referrals and consultations.
• Verify insurance and obtain appropriate pre-certifications or approvals.
• Collect patient demographics, update insurance and collect payments as needed.
• Communicate with clinicians to ensure accurate and full scheduling.
• Assist patients with financial counseling referrals and follow-up communications.
