Sutter Health is seeking a patient access representative at SCH-Sutter Coast Hospital in Brookings, SD to register patients and financially clear them at service delivery. You will greet patients, verify information and ensure accurate data entry across multiple systems. The role supports the patient experience and adheres to insurance and EMTALA guidelines.

Full-time schedule, 40 hours weekly, days shift. Prior reception, registration or financial counseling experience is preferred.

Qualificações

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of insurance terminology.
• Ability to handle confidential information.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Proficiency with multiple computer systems.

Responsabilidades

• Register patients and obtain necessary information for financial clearance.
• Greet patients and family members and explain registration steps.
• Verify information and maintain accurate data in registration systems.
• Provide customer service to patients at the point of service.
• Remain knowledgeable about Sutter Health services and payer requirements.
