Qualifications

• 2 years in customer service or healthcare revenue cycle.
• Experience in patient collections.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients to obtain and document accurate demographic and insurance information.
• Verify eligibility and gather benefits to aid accurate registration.
• Perform check-in with co-pays, signatures, and ID/scans; educate on price transparency.
• Assist in de-escalation and handle challenging patient situations.
• Manage worklists, train new staff, and support colleagues as needed.
• Confirm benefits, referrals, and any patient liabilities.
• Provide price estimates and refer to financial counseling when needed.
• Deliver notices of non-coverage and follow payer determinations.
• Collaborate with departments to ensure a seamless patient experience.
