The role emphasizes patient access, data integrity, and timely insurance authorizations in a fast-paced clinic setting. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 6 months in a medical office performing clerical duties, with strong customer service and Microsoft Office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or 6 months experience in a medical office performing data collection, data entry and scheduling.
• Knowledge of CPT procedure codes and ICD diagnosis coding.
• Knowledge of insurance verification and obtaining authorizations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as point of contact for patients inside and outside the clinic.
• Register and book patient appointments by collecting demographic, insurance and clinical data.
• Support referrals and authorizations; ensure accurate data entry and compliance.
