The role emphasizes data collection, insurance verification, and knowledge of CPT/ICD codes, with a focus on compliant, patient-centered service. A Bachelor's degree or 6 months in a medical office is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Bachelor's Degree OR 6 months experience in a medical office with data collection, data entry, typing, customer relations and filing.
• Desired: Surgical office experience, insurance verification, and knowledge of obtaining authorizations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a point of contact for patients inside and outside the clinic.
• Collect and analyze demographic, insurance, financial and clinical data for registration and appointments.
• Support referrals and authorizations to promote efficient operations and reimbursement.
• Uphold compliance and the center's Code of Conduct in daily duties.
