Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum two years patient registration experience.
• Knowledge of financial and insurance information.
• Excellent customer service and communication.
• Accurate data entry in Windows environment.

Responsibilities

• Register patients for hospital services and maintain wait times per scorecard.
• Interview and collect patient information and demographics accurately.
• Verify and review insurance benefits and financial responsibility.
• Manage payments at point of service and post payments.
• Assist with financial clearance and setup of payment plans; refer to financial counselors.
• Promote confidentiality and HIPAA compliance; participate in staff training.
