• 1 year of customer service experience required.
• 1 year of healthcare experience in Patient Access or Revenue Cycle preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patients with a welcoming experience and facilitate access to care.
• Perform Scheduling, Pre-Registration, Financial Clearance, Referrals, Authorizations, Financial Counseling, and Patient Arrival/Registration as assigned.
• Verify and update patient demographics, insurance eligibility and benefits to ensure financial clearance.
• Assign or verify medical record numbers while following patient identification policy.
• Explain patient estimates and financial obligations and collect funds to meet department goals.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to regulatory requirements.
