Responsibilities

• Register patients and verify insurance benefits to determine financial responsibility.
• Explain all forms and collect patient balances at the time of service.
• Verify and update demographics, PCP and referral information when required.
• Register bedside admissions or perform pre-registration as needed.
• Maintain HIPAA privacy and secure confidential information.
• Resolve patient accounts by clearing workqueues and supporting Patient Financial Services as needed.
• Collaborate with clinical partners to ensure open communication between departments.
