Responsibilities

• Greet and interview patients to obtain demographics and insurance information.
• Input patient data into computer and obtain signatures on consents.
• Explain billing details to patients and assist with payment processes.
• Collect and scan insurance cards; obtain signatures on consent forms.
• Coordinate with Patient Accounting for payment arrangements and deposits.
• Assist with room assignment, transports, and discharge-related tasks.
• Support 24/7 answering and provide coverage for PBX when needed.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient and personnel information.
