Job summary

R1 RCM is seeking a Patient Access Representative to be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring fast, compassionate access to care. This frontline role supports registration, insurance verification, and collaboration with care teams to optimize patient flow.

You will handle check-in processes, gather accurate information, and provide cost estimates when applicable. A high school diploma or GED is required, with training provided for healthcare knowledge and systems.

• Navigate insurance plans, enter demographics, and collect co-pays; provide cost estimates as applicable.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and care teams to ensure smooth patient flow.
