IMS Care Center in Phoenix is seeking a Front Desk Representative for our Primary Care team. You will answer the phones, schedule patients, check in/out, and support insurance verification as needed in a fast-paced medical office.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience preferred.
• Previous experience with Athena system a plus.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to plan, coordinate and organize front office tasks and workflow.
• Excellent communication skills, initiative, work well with an established team.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Computer skills using Microsoft software, scheduling software, and email applications.
• The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.

Responsibilities

• Provide office support to front office staff in order to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of office flow.
• Check patients in and out
• Receive direct and relay telephone messages
• Efficient patient scheduling
• Maintain and keep an updated scanning/filing system
• Have an understanding of insurance referral processes
• Provide word-processing and secretarial support
• Ability to multi-task and execute delegated duties
