Evolve Orthopedic Partners is seeking a Patient Access Representative to join our brand new Saratoga Springs clinic. This role handles patient greeting, data collection, and copay processing in a fast-paced medical office environment.

You will manage appointments, verify insurance details, and ensure accurate EMR entries while maintaining exceptional customer service and confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines. Regular hours Monday to Friday, on-site clinic operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; some higher education preferred.
• Experience in a professional medical office setting.
• Knowledge of medical insurances preferred.
• Exceptional customer service skills required.
• Experience working with an EMR/PM required.
• Exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task in a high-volume environment is a must.

Responsabilités

• Prepare appointments for the following day to ensure data accuracy and complete forms.
• Greets patients promptly and professionally.
• Answer incoming phone calls.
• Review data/forms with patients to ensure complete records in the EMR.
• Collect copayments and balances.
• Utilize the practice management system per supervisor guidelines.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely processing of patient information.
• Reconcile daily payments and close daily batches with accurate reporting.
• Schedule follow-up tests or appointments as needed.
• Provide patient handouts and maintain confidentiality per HIPAA standards.
• Maintain organized workspace and restock supplies.
• Travel to other OrthoNY offices for coverage.
