Banner Health in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking an Acute Patient Access Services Representative for Registry/Per Diem roles. You will be the first point of contact, handling patient intake, verifying demographics and insurance, generating estimates, and collecting patient liability in a high-volume, fast-paced hospital setting.

Role requires strong customer service and communication, familiarity with EHR systems, and the ability to prioritize.

Qualifications

• 0 High school diploma/GED is required.
• 0 Customer service or patient financial services experience preferred.
• 0 Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• 0 Proficiency with common office software, typing ability required.

Responsabilités

• Verifies demographics and inputs data into the EHR to maximize reimbursement.
• Covers multiple services (inpatient, ER, obstetrics, etc.) as needed.
• Verifies insurance benefits and eligibility and explains financial responsibilities.
• Submits timely payer notifications to reduce denials and meet KPIs.
• Collects patient liability and assists with payment plans or financial aid when needed.
• Provides various patient and financial services tasks and may train new hires.
• Works independently in a fast-paced hospital environment.
