Job summary

LMH Health is seeking a Patient Access Representative to register patients into the clinic, schedule appointments, collect co-pays, greet patients, and assist with insurance and billing processes under supervision. This role supports efficient front-desk operations and accurate data entry.

Responsibilities include handling multiple tasks, verifying eligibility, and using clinic software and phone systems. A High school diploma or equivalent is required, with preferred experience in healthcare

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or considered with related experience.
• Some college with emphasis on business or healthcare preferred.
• Familiarity with medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Register encounters accurately, including demographic, insurance and scheduling data entry.
• Greet patients and visitors at check-in in a prompt, courteous manner.
• Educate staff and physicians on scheduling processes and computer systems.
• Schedule patients by phone, in person, or electronically.
• Manage multiple responsibilities (inquiries, data entry, medical record compliance, form stocking, other office duties).
• Confirm eligibility with insurance companies via websites.
• Demonstrate proficient use of computer software, telephone system and office equipment.
• Support regulatory mandates and compliance.
• Other duties as assigned; regular attendance is essential.
