Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Collect and verify patient demographic, insurance, and pre-certification information during registration.
• Coordinate patient flow with scheduling, bed control, and nursing units for efficient routing.
• Explain hospital policies, consent forms, and insurance requirements to patients.
• Contribute to a collaborative team environment with professionalism and flexibility.
• Resolve challenges diplomatically and suggest process improvements.
• Prioritize tasks and manage high volumes of registrations accurately and timely.
• Handle tasks such as assigning rooms, transporting patients, preparing charts, and collecting insurance cards.
• Ensure proper documentation and signatures and compliance with regulations.
