Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to function independently.
• Clerical, data entry and typing skills including filing and record keeping.
• One or more years of registration or related clerical/health care experience is preferred when accompanied with HS Diploma or equivalent.
• Some knowledge of computer systems.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment that has frequent changes in priorities.
• Flexibility and ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail.
• Ability to complete needed tasks with speed and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Interviews patients and/or patients' representatives to obtain necessary personal, demographic and financial information.
• Performs computer data entry and other record keeping tasks related to the patients' registration within the registration areas.
• Exhibits Service Excellence Standards at all times, and incorporates into all interactions.
