Qualifications

• Customer service and clerical experience required.
• English proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Registers patients and handles registration-related tasks, including obtaining consents and collecting financial paperwork and co-payments.
• Communicates with patients by phone and in person to facilitate access to care and respond to inquiries in a timely, courteous manner.
• Resolves non-clinical questions within scope while delivering excellent customer service.
• Performs ongoing documentation audits for medical necessity, plan of care, and payor requirements.
• Schedules procedures, provides pre/post-exam instructions, and distributes reminders and recalls.
• Manages files, scans records, and maintains organized information.
• Handles incoming correspondence and forwards queries to appropriate staff.
• Manages front desk supplies and participates in staff meetings.
• Adheres to CMS requirements for eligibility and coverage information; identifies ABN needs and maintains records in the EMR.
• Completes Medicare Secondary Payer questionnaires per CMS standards.
• Models Just Culture and organizational values; ensures HIPAA/ EMTLA and Joint Commission compliance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
