Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Verify demographic information including address, phone number, and insurance details.
• Obtain pre-certifications and insurance authorizations for procedures.
• Collect co-pays, deductibles, and deposits.
• Direct and escort patients and visitors to designated locations.
• Provide billing and payment information assistance.
• Oversee cashier responsibilities in posting payments and deposits.
• Maintain accuracy with vendor services and department policies.
• Complete required annual competencies.
• Adhere to hospital procedures for outpatient orders.
• Obtain room assignments and communicate with nursing and staff.
