Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma with 1 year experience in customer service, health care or a business related field preferred.
• Ability to interpret and apply financial procedures and regulations preferred.
• Experience with hospital information systems or word processing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process patient preadmission and admission demographic and insurance data in the hospital system.
• Maintain quality control to ensure accuracy of information.
• Serve as liaison between patients, financial counselors and hospital patient accounting.
