Job summary

UCI Health is seeking a Patient Access representative to support efficient departments by handling scheduling, registration, pre-admission and admission tasks. You will ensure accurate patient demographics and apply compliant liability collection practices around the time of service.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, 0–1 year in customer service, and some college coursework. Strong English communication and teamwork are essential in this on-site role at our Orange County

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• 0-1 year in a customer service role.
• 0-1 year administrative experience in medical facility, health insurance, or related area preferred.
• Some college coursework completed.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduling, registration, patient pre-admission and admission, reception and discharge functions.
• Obtain complete and accurate patient demographics.
• Employ compliant patient liability collection techniques before, during and after date of service.
