St. Luke’s Health System in Boise, ID is seeking a Patient Access Specialist 2 to support registration, scheduling, referrals, and benefit verification.
This float role rotates across Treasure Valley locations, offering exposure to multiple settings and flexibility to learn diverse workflows. The ideal candidate has a High School diploma and at least 1 year of experience, strong customer service skills, and the ability to navigate complex insurance details while delivering accurate information
The Patient Access Specialist 2 is responsible for responding to patient, provider, and department/service area needs with a high emphasis on customer service and accuracy. This includes, but is not limited to, registration, complex scheduling, referral coordination, benefit verification, preauthorization, order transcription and general inquiries from patients, providers and the general public.
This is a float position that will rotate between various St. Luke's locations in the Treasure Valley. This provides a great opportunity to learn various skills and experience in various settings!
Shift details: We have part-time and full-time positions available. 7 days a week and all hours, rotate on call shifts. Requires days, nights, and weekends!
