Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years of medical office experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Register patients accurately in the EMR system and verify demographic and insurance information.
• Enter demographic and financial details through standard processes via phone, virtual, or in-person visits.
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, visitors, and OhioHealth staff.
• Verify insurance eligibility and obtain authorizations as needed.
• Explain billing procedures and patient financial responsibilities.
• Assist with training new associates and support administrative duties as needed.
