Job summary

You will provide exceptional service to patients, families, visitors and physicians while navigating the registration process.

Shift is 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM, with a 40-hour work week in a high-volume environment. Strong communication and computer skills are essential, and prior medical office experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School or GED is required.
• One to two years of experience in a medical office setting.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and collect accurate demographic and financial information.
• Explain billing procedures and hospital policies.
• Verify insurance eligibility and obtain authorizations.
• Provide exceptional customer service during encounters.
• Educate patients on MyChart activation.
• Assist with offsite registrations and maintain patient logs.
