Job summary

OhioHealth Canal Winchester Medical Campus is seeking a Patient Registration Representative to support Revenue Cycle processes by collecting accurate demographic and financial information from patients and families.

This full-time, day-shift role involves entering data into the EMR, verifying insurance, scheduling and explaining billing procedures, and delivering exceptional customer service in a busy hospital front desk.

Qualifications

• High School or GED (Required).
• Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• One to two years’ previous experience in a medical office setting.

Responsibilities

• Accurately identifies patient in EMR system and collects demographic information.
• Enter accurate patient demographic and financial information into the system.
• Verify insurance eligibility and process authorizations.
• Explain billing procedures and hospital policies to patients and families.
• Assist with registration, scheduling, and offsite registrations as needed.
