Job summary

You will collect and verify patient and insurance information and register them in the system, and schedule appointments including referrals and tests.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED. Associate Degree Preferred.
• A minimum of two (2) years’ experience as a Medical Practice Business Associate or working in a similar healthcare role.
• Proficient in typing, Windows, and experience with multiple computer systems.

Responsibilities

• You are the first point of contact for patients and their families; you greet them and set a welcoming tone.
• Obtain/verify patient and insurance information and enter it into the registration system accurately.
• Schedule patient appointments, including return visits, referrals, and diagnostic testing.
• Coordinate the visit by greeting patients professionally in person and over the phone.
