Job summary

You will obtain demographic information, register patients in the system, and handle cashiering duties while ensuring accuracy and HIPAA compliance.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of customer service experience and strong English communication skills, with bilingual Spanish preferred to assist a diverse patient base.

Qualifications

• One year of customer service experience required.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English; bilingual in Spanish preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Obtains updated demographic and financial information from patients and enters it into the computer.
• Registers patients and prepares admitting forms.
• Verifies insurance and obtains authorizations for services.
• Performs cashiering transactions and collects deposits and deductibles.
• Maintains department records, reports, and files.
• Maintains confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
