Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
• 1–2 years college preferred.
• Experience in a medical environment is a plus.
• Spanish language skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Register patients accurately and courteously.
• Verify insurance eligibility and obtain authorizations when needed.
• Process payments and explain hospital policies.
• Answer phones and manage the switchboard.
• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA and GRMC policies.
• Coordinate with Radiology and other departments as needed.
