U.S. Urology Partners is seeking a Patient Access Representative in Edison, NJ to greet patients and manage the check-in/out process with professionalism. The role involves answering appointment and general inquiries, reviewing charts for accuracy, and updating insurance details within the EMR system.

Travel to other clinics may be required. A High School Diploma and experience in a medical setting are preferred, along with strong communication and HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and visitors in a prompt, courteous, and helpful manner.
• Handles patient check-in/checkout process.
• Answers calls about appointment times, patient requests and general inquiries.
• Reviews patient charts for accuracy before upcoming appointments.
• Performs scanning and sorting within EMR system.
• Verifies and updates insurance information.
• Travel to other clinics as needed.
