Job summary

Ryan Health is seeking a Patient Services Representative to support front office operations in a ambulatory care setting. You will check in patients, collect payments, verify insurance, and guide patients through available services and entitlements.

The role requires maintaining updated patient information, coordinating referrals, and processing appointments and communications with care teams. A High School Diploma or GED is required, and experience with electronic health records is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Check in patient visits and create same-day visits when needed.
• Collect copays and patient balances; process payments.
• Verify insurance coverage and bill insurance for services.
• Screen for sliding fee eligibility; explain entitlements and referrals.
• Orient patients to services, hours, fees, and patient rights.
• Update/recertify registration information as patient details change.
