Qualifikationen

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a high patient volume unit.
• Strong time management skills.

• Register patients, update insurance information, schedule visits and coordinate appointments.
• Explain financial obligations and regulatory forms to patients and answer questions.
• Use multiple systems during patient interactions to support registration and clinical workflow.
• Adhere to plans, policies and procedures within the department scope.
• Represent Albany Med Health System and uphold its standards.
• Interact with a diverse patient population.
• Use the electronic medical record to maintain patient records and registrations.
• Ensure proper consents for wards of the state and obtain proxies where needed.
• Schedule follow-up appointments, referrals and prior authorizations.
