Descrizione del lavoro

Albany Medical Center is seeking a Patient Service Associate for its EmUrgent Care locations in Latham. This per diem role requires strong front desk skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Some travel to nearby locations may be required. Responsibilities include greeting patients, assisting at the front desk, using the EHR system, collecting copays, scheduling follow-ups, and handling calls.

Competenze

High school diploma or equivalent required.
No experience required; excellent customer service skills preferred.
Experience using an electronic health record and Microsoft Office a plus.

Mansioni

Assist all patients that report to the front desk.
Greet patients in a prompt, courteous and professional manner.
Interact with a diverse patient population.
Utilize the electronic medical record to maintain patient records via scanning or registration.
Attend appointments, collect copayments, and other necessary information at time of check‑in.
Schedule follow up appointments and referrals as needed (check out).
Answer incoming phone calls and direct appropriately to team members.
