Nemours is seeking an Access Center Specialist II (Part Time) to join our team in Orlando, FL. The Access Center handles appointment scheduling, clinical escalation, and information requests with high-volume calls.

The specialist collects accurate demographics and insurance details, discusses financial obligations, and ensures timely claim filing in collaboration with other Nemours departments. The role provides superior customer service to patients and families, represents Nemours

Competenze

• High School Diploma required.
• At least 1 year of customer service or call center experience.
• CRCR/HFMA certification preferred.

Mansioni

• Answer calls for assigned clinic specialties using approved greeting and closure.
• Capture and verify demographics, guarantor, guardian, and insurance in EMR.
• Schedule appointments in the EMR and provide directions and paperwork.
• Review communications and process documentation; escalate questions.
• Collect copays and balances; coordinate with Financial Advocates when needed.
• Escalate and route unresolved complaints per guidelines.
• Demonstrate mastery across scheduling groups to provide cross-coverage.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
