You will work in a fast-paced patient access center, coordinating with clinics and nursing teams to optimize scheduling and patient experience. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are essential in this high-volume role.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
3–5 years of hospital or physician office or call center experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of insurance payer authorization and eligibility verification.
Ability to collect patient financial information and explain costs clearly.

Responsibilities

Schedule appointments and services for multiple service lines per established scripts and protocols.
Triage calls to the appropriate Clinic Nursing team per protocol.
Identify and verify demographic and insurance information for accurate registration.
Explain insurance benefits and patient financial responsibilities to obtain accurate pre-service payment.
Review services to ensure correct setting of care and appropriate scheduling.
