SGMC Health is seeking a detail-oriented Scheduling professional to handle the complete scheduling of inpatient and outpatient procedures within the CENTRAL SCHEDULING department. You will register patients, verify benefits, and coordinate referrals, ensuring HIPAA compliance and timely data entry.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of insurance/managed care, Medicare/Medicaid, and related payer rules.
• Strong verbal communication and excellent customer service skills.
• Familiarity with CPT/HCPCS/ICD-10 and PCI compliance.

• Schedule inpatient and outpatient procedures for all departments.
• Register patients accurately and verify insurance benefits.
• Manage referrals, emails, calls, and voicemail communications.
