Qualifications

• Strong verbal communication skills and excellent customer service abilities.
• Knowledge of medical terminology; familiarity with CPT/ICD-10/HCPCS is a plus.
• Ability to organize workload efficiently and type 40 wpm accurately.
• Experience with data entry and office coordination is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule inpatient and outpatient procedures; register patients and manage transfers.
• Verify insurance benefits and enter patient demographics and financial data accurately.
• Meet productivity and accuracy targets (94%–105% productivity; 98%+ accuracy).
• Coordinate referrals and respond to SGMC Health emails, calls, and messages.
