Job summary

PeaceHealth is seeking a Patient Access Representative for Family Practice in a full-time role in Washington. You will coordinate scheduling, verify insurance, and assist with pre-certifications as a clinical liaison with physician practices.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma Preferred: or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year Medical office or related customer service experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Pre-registers/registers patients with accurate demographics and financial data.
• Collects patient balances, co-pay, co-insurance, or other payments.
• Verifies insurance coverage and obtains prior authorizations/referrals as needed.
• Responds to customer inquiries and supports scheduling workflows.
• Manages daily appointment schedules and reminders.
• May transport patients as needed and perform other duties.
