Summit Orthopedics in Woodbury, MN is seeking an Appointment Scheduler to register and schedule inpatient and outpatient procedures and surgical appointments. You will handle high-quality patient communication, verify insurance information, and coordinate scheduling across physician teams.

This full-time role is based at our corporate office with a Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM schedule. Cross-training in switchboard and clinic navigator duties is included to support operations.

Qualifikationen

• High School degree required.
• Minimum 1 year of healthcare experience in scheduling, billing, call center, registration or financial counseling.

Aufgaben

• Serve as the front line of communication with patients via phone, providing high level customer service.
• Review patient demographics and insurance information for accuracy.
• Register new patients and verify insurance eligibility.
• Search schedules to meet patient needs and schedule/confirm appointments.
• Coordinate interpreters for deaf or non-English speaking patients.
• Follow scheduling protocols and escalate issues as needed.
• Cross-train in switchboard and clinic navigator duties.
