Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience as a medical receptionist with multi-line phones.
• Familiarity with insurance and EMR systems.
• Must speak, write and read English proficiently; Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in a friendly, helpful manner.
• Register new patients and verify demographic and insurance information.
• Schedule appointments and update patient charts.
• Coordinate with Financial Aid for self-pay patients.
• Answer phone calls and route to appropriate medical staff.
• Maintain waiting area, monitor patient flow and wait times.
• Perform additional front-office duties as needed.
