Job summary

Women’s Care in Saint Augustine is seeking a Patient Access Representative who will greet patients, collect demographics, verify insurance, and ensure accurate scheduling and billing. You will handle high call volume, assist with online registration, maintain a welcoming lobby, record payments, and uphold HIPAA compliance while delivering an extraordinary patient experience.

Strong customer service, organization, and communication skills are essential, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in a prompt, courteous manner.
• Obtain and verify patient demographics and update profiles.
• Collect payments and assist with billing concerns per policy.
• Scan insurance cards/ID into EMR (HIPAA compliant).
• Set up payment plans for balances per policy.
• Answer high volumes of calls and emails promptly.
• Schedule or reschedule appointments and confirm next-day visits.
• Maintain lobby cleanliness and ensure smooth patient flow.
